Trip across Venice continues...and memories return...;)
Today a classical shot from this lovely place.

Venice is world-famous for its canals. It is built on an archipelago of 118 islands formed by about 150 canals in a shallow lagoon. The islands on which the city is built are connected by about 400 bridges. In the old center, the canals serve the function of roads, and every form of transport is on water or on foot. In the 19th century a causeway to the mainland brought a railway station to Venice, and an automobile causeway and parking lot was added in the 20th century. Beyond these land entrances at the northern edge of the city, transportation within the city remains, as it was in centuries past, entirely on water or on foot. Venice is Europe's largest urban car free area, unique in Europe in remaining a sizable functioning city in the 21st century entirely without motorcars or trucks.

Witaj,
Najlepsze to sa oczywiscie fotki z WSow;) Tak wlasnie kojarzy sie ludzi- rozesmiane, wesole twarze. Co do zdjecia...orginalne podejscie do tematu, ksiazkowy podzial, glowny temat doskonale osadzony tylko cos swiatla malo. Taka pogode mieliscie przez caly czas, czy tylko na tym zdjeciu tak ubogo? Podoba mi sie i to bardzo nawet klimat tego zdjecia.

Bonsoir Mikeo,

C'est peut-être une photo classique mais c'est une photo sublime.
Sa texture, comme sa composition et son arrière plan font qu'elle tient plus de la peinture que de la photographie.

no to teraz macie kolezenstwa z calej Europy! Zazdroszcze takich spotkan ale czlek nie zawsze moze zrealizowac zamiary. Tutaj klasyczna kompozycja z Wenecji. Bdb jakosc.

Hi Aga and Mik,
a very nice graphic effect these gondoles on foreground and lovely blu coloured, with an interesting verticalism and the small island in the back side. I like your POV and all the composition. Very well done!

Ah ta Wenecja... by³em w niej jako dzieciak, niestety wówczas nie focenie by³o mi w g³owie. A teraz, gdy chcia³bym zmierzyæ siê z ni± fotograficznie, to jako¶ ci±gle siê nie s³ada...

Na szczê¶cie s± inni, którzy potrafi± w sposób ciekawy j± pokazaæ. Dobra kompozycja z jak¿e charakterystycznymi gondolami na pierwszym planie. Poza tym mam s³abo¶æ do badyli wystaj±cych z wody, czego wkrótce dowiodê ;)

A pamietacie piosenke Pani Ireny Jarockiej, ulubionej piosenkarki Pana Poloneza, o Jerzym Gondolu? Pamietacie? Szlo tak: "Gondolierzy znad Wisly...".

bardzo fajne.
Klasyka ale ja uwielbiam klasyke, swietne wykonanie.
Zdaje sie ze troche musiales to i owo podkrecic bo widze np ze budowle na horyzoncie sa bardzo dobrze oswietlone i wyrazne i intensywnosc i kolorystyka troche odstaje od reszty nie mniej chyba nikt nie zauwazyl.
Swietny punkt widzenia, ciekawa symetria lodzi -tez kiedys zrobilem taki shot ale jeszcze analogowo.
Wenecja to naprawde raj dla fotografa,
