Photographer’s Note

The surroundings of San Marco in Venice have been photographed a zillion times, but this view is maybe somewhat more unusual.
The photo has been taken from within the Doges Palace, from a window overlooking the inner courtyard to include the top of the Doges chapel with its statues and behind the tower of San Marco.

This is very creative point of view while adding ancient statues to historical bell tower. I like splendid contrasts between copper roof and terracotta brick walls with blue sky. Paul,
you're absolutely right with your note in every respect. The novel approach is really worth being looked at and studied. I like that a lot when people com with different, new, provocative, etc approaches of something seen humpteen times. The distribution of the statues is very well done, particularly the one in the right upper corner.

I love the blue sky and all other intense colors. Under the blue sky everything else looks colorful as well.
It is a very original point of view.
I like shots like this with a lot of details composed together, especially if there are some famous details as well which help to recognize the place and yet their composition may be surprising because nobody ever showed that in such a way before.
