Photographer’s Note

In the absence of certain TE members at the moment, I thought I’d keep up the ecclesiatical Sunday tradition today by posting this picture. I am not a regular contributor to this Sunday theme, and the title is not a reference to the number of photos I have posted but to the altitude of this small chapel which is situated next to the Bontadini ski lift.

jolie photo avec une belle blancheur de la neige. J'aime vien le point de vue en contre-plongée. Concernant l'altitude, est-ce que ce ne serait pas la plus haute papagolfade postée sur TE ?... à vérifier ;o)

Fais nous voir des églises des montagnes un beau ciel bleu marine, le soleil. C'est cela la vie

Hi Susanna,

It's a very good contribution to this theme. I like how you manage the light, the snow is perfectly taken, in a good and soft contrast with the sky. The POV is very good too, so the little church seems really big! I think is a very well balanced shot!

Merci de garder cette tradition en postant cette très belle image de cette Papagolfade d'altitude. Le point de vue en contre plongée donne encore plus d'importance à cette petite chapelle.

We don't get that much snow in the UK but when we do there is rarely a blue sky afterwards to be able to take pics like this. Your low POV works very well as does the off-centre placement of the little church. I know it sounds fanciful but I like that you chose to place it on the right "looking" into the frame.

Papagolfade 3074, you've earned, in Portugal the highest mountain with 2000.
Excellent composition, very nice colors, and sharpness. Pretty and very interesting postcard of Cervinia.

For sure a most spectacular placement of this chapel Su. Good captured from the low pov and what a day with the deep blue sky. Well disposed work here.
