hi Anders,
I really like this, especially how the long shadows create a sense of depth and emphasise the lead-in line of the path. I also like the fairly tight framing you have chosen, the trunks of the trees add strong vertical lines, and I find it creates a feeling of order, power and organization, pretty much how I've always thought about Anciet Rome during its best days :)

Kristine

Very nice shot! I was just there in mid October, but I didn't get any photos as nice as this. The lighting is very good, and I really like the way you used those three trees to create some divisions in the shot, and added interest. Well done!

Hi, Anders.
Striking contrast and shadowplay on top of a classic view shrouded in wonderful colors. The framing, with the tree-tops cut off and lots of empty foreground to enhance those long shadows, is just perfect. TFS! And thanks also for recently visiting my Moab Blues, I greatly appreciate. Have a nice evening, I'll be seeing you.
Fulvio.

Hello Anders,
yes, the sky - bright blue sky, but I the shadows (especially on the right) are very curious. But not only this: it's the contrast light which I also like very much! This creates depth in the photo.
A strange combination of something mysterious (shadows) and something very real...
Wonderful warm colours! Good composition - as always!
best regards,
Elena

Hej Anders,
A very fine interaction between shadows and trees against the ruins in the background. Apparently not many tourists around, just a few visible here. Very good colours! This seems to be a place that I reconize...

Hi Anders,
Well seen, good light for colours and interesting effect with these shadows to have an original foreground.
