Old Lighthouse - New Hotel Photo

Photographer’s Note

Capo Spartivento’s lighthouse was built in 1866, and therefore is the oldest lighthouse still in function in Sardinia. In the past it was neglected and so was in bad conditions. Recently it has been restored completely to be transformed into a luxury hotel.
The view you can enjoy form there is fantastic. (See my photo Autumn in Sardinia)

Il Faro di Capo Spartivento e' stato costruito nel 1866, ed è quindi il faro più antico della Sardegna tuttora in funzione. Fino a poco tempo fa l'edificio versava in pessime condizioni - dato che non vi risiedeva più alcun guardiano. Recentemente è stato restaurato e ristrutturato per farne un albergo di lusso. La vista che si gode, vi assicuro è bellissima. (vedi mia foto: Autumn in Sardinia)

Ricordo questo edificio in condizioni di estremo degrado, ora è rinato. Ho inserito una foto del vecchio edificio nel WS. La foto è molto buona sotto tutti i parametri, c'è solo uno strano effetto rumore sul cielo e sulle pareti, credo che abbia origine nel post-processing, poichè so che la G9 ne ha pochissimo di suo.

This is an interesting lighthouse that has been renovated into a hotel. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The shot is well balanced and symmetrical. The deep blue sky provides an excellent backdrop for the shot.

davvero notevole la struttura e la posizione (ho visto la foto di rimando).
Sarà che amo particolarmente i fari ma non ho saputo resistere, ti ho fatto visita con piacere, per saperne di più di uno dei fari più antichi d'Italia.
Peccato che il mestiere sta scomparendo con queste torri di segnalazione telecomandate, ma qualche hanno fa, a richiesta da parte della Marina, le domande per fare il farista (guardiano del faro, va.... + romantico...) hanno superato ma di molto le spaettative della Marina Militare stessa.
Scusa la dilungation, ma la materia mi piace

Un bell'omaggio ad una costruzione a noi cara! Peccato que"parabrezza" in basso a sinistra anche se capisco che toglierli avrebbe potuto crearti problemi. Molto puklita la composizione, ma efficace. Ciao D.

Que bella foto di questo faro vecchio. Fortunatamente que l'edificio è stato restaurato. Mi piacerebbe trascorrere un po' tempo in questo albergo di lusso. Una foto bellissima con i bei colori. ottima nitidezza.

Oyyimo lavoro di gruppo.
La tua foto, la riduzione del rumore, evidente nel cielo, il contributo di Bobo lo scannirizzatore (ma quante dia o negativi ha ?).
Come dicevi oltre la foto è bello il luogo, specie con il mare agitato.
La trasformazione in albergo spero sia gradita a Stefano D. .
IL WS di Bobo evidenzia la gabbia di fahrenheit, oltre al degrado.
Ottomo lavoro, una capatina all'isola deo Cavoli per il bel fato al prossimo anno.

Ciao Donato, ho rivisto la tua foto e concordo il panorama è stupendo e l'antico faro mi sembra ristrutturato molto bene, come si vede dal cnfronto con la foto vecchia che il bravo Bobo ha opportunamente postato, ottima la tua foto con bella nitidezza, piacevole il contrasto tra il colore caldo della facciata e lo splendido cielo della sardegna, bravo, ciao Silvio

A very big and rather low building for a light house, and no wonder it has been converted into something else. But the lantirn remains very well preserved.

Hi Donato,
This beautifully restored salmon colored lighthouse contrast brilliantly with the vivid blue sky.
The lighting here is excellent exposing a richly textured foreground rock wall, clear colors and excellent sharp details.

Caro Donato, manco da un po' (troppo) tempo.
Guardo con estremo interesse questa tua ultima foto, perfetta nella sua composizione e nei suoi dettagli. Del Faro di Capo Spartivento ho sentito parlare molte volte, ma mai mi sarei immaginato un suo recupero ai fini ricettivi.
Dovremmo organizzare una tre giorni TE in Sardegna...

la prise de cet hotel a été bien réalisée, avec une grande netteté, elle nous montre de très jolies couleurs, un phare très beau qui ressort bien sur ce ciel bleu.

sicuramente la vista da un faro non puo' che essere meravigliosa, come lo e' la tua foto ricca di colore, vedo che hanno lasciato praticamente intatta l'estitica originale e questo e' un bene. bel lavoro di documentazione e fotografico

I like the clean geometry in the composition, and I notice this original lighthouse architecture!
Good colour palette, where the wall contrasts well with the blue sky...
Sharp fine details, and the slightly off centre point of view works well!

J'ai une préférence pour l'autre photo de phares mais ce que j'aime en celle-ci, ce sont les couleurs très prononcées et la clarté. Tu as parfaitement su gérer la lumière pour faire ressortir beaucoup de détails. Le contraste entre le ciel et le rouge-brique du phare est fabuleux. J'aime bien également les pots (de cactus ?) mis sur le muret, ils ont leur importance dans la composition. La seule chose que je n'aime pas trop est la vitre à droite de la photo qui altère un peu la photo du fait qu'elle ne s'accorde pas avec le reste.
J'ai regardé la vue que tu as indiqué dans ta note et il est vrai qu'elle est magnifique !
