Photographer’s Note

Set under the arcades of the Procuratie Nuove in St Mark's Square, Caffè Florian is one of the city symbols.

Openned on December the 29th 1720 by Floriano Francesconi under the name "Venezia Trionfante", it soon became soons by its patrons "Florian's".

Some of the customers of this famous Caffè has been: Lord Byron, Rosseau, Dickens or Hemmingay so....an excellent place to rest!

I hope you like it!
