My first visit in the City of Bridges was very short. Unfortunatelly I did not have as much time as I would like to have to explore this amazing place as I normally do...
Never knew it is built on an archipelago of so many islands – 122 altogether. It`s formed by about 150 canals in a shallow lagoon. The islands on which the city is built are connected by about 400 bridges. In the old center, the canals serve the function of roads, and every form of transport is on water or on foot which makes this place totally unique.
These hundreds of narrow canals and litle, charming bridges are really worthy to be seen at least once in your life. One of them on my picture.
Hopefully some of you will like a couple of shots I was manage to take in Venice that day.

Hello Patrk! Beautiful shot capturing the essence of Venice with the interesting bridges and warm saturated architecture. The details are very well seen here. The far right wall highlights seem a bit bright but perhaps it's my monitor. Well done!

Very nice composition! The light casted on the water beneath the bridge and the wall right beside the boat adds so much more dimensions to the picture!
