Photographer's Note

Seen along a back street in Venice. The letterbox would look like a face anyway, but with the addition of the red leaflet to give the red lips it really grabbed my attention. I hope you like it.

I do like it! I like interesting and fun details, and you found a great one. You are right about the red leaflet looking like lips. Nice stone detail in the wall and mailbox, too.

I wish I could give this 3 smiles; 2 for the shot and another for the smile you gave me with this clever shot. The face is obvious, but as you say, the red lips are a great touch, and the yellow, maybe that's a cigarette or a bun! Great eye to spot this!

Best 'humour' shot I've seen for ages. Brilliantly seen, Jonathan. It looks simple, but not everyone would have positioned the letterbox in the frame above centre where it belongs. My only conclusion is that letterbox speaks with forked tongue.
