Santa Maria e Donato church is one of the most important attractions in Murano island. I found this ancient and marvelous floor made with colored stones. Unfortunately the image isn't so sharp in the upper side, but I wanted to show this for you.

A Basílica de Santa Maria e Donato é uma das maiores atrações da ilha de Murano. Encontrei este piso tão belo e antigo na igreja, ele é feito de pedaços de pedras coloridas. A imagem tem uma nitidez ruim na parte superior, mas queria mostrar este piso a vocês.

Interesting mosaic floor, but I think that you should frame in a perpendicular position.

Great focus on this artwork created by small tiles to make amazing picture. Hard work but the outcome is beautiful.

Les planchers de Venise m'ont fascinée aussi. J'en ai photographié plusieurs. La mosaïque ici est très belle. On ne sait pas trop quel animal il resprésente, mais c'est un travail superbe. Merci de me rappeler de bons souvenirs.
