Just another view in the 'cementery' of disused boats nearby the Sile River. The river spring up 10 km. in north of Treviso and go out in the venetian laguna: in the past was the most important transport's way for the supplies of foodstuffs to Venice.
These boats are barges without sails: many of these was simply towed, in some cases by oxes moving forward upon the embankment.

Ciao Giorgio, vedo con piacere che continui la tua serie ... Qui si vede bene che col tempo la natura si "mangia" tutto, immagino che fra qualche anno non si vedrà più niente ... e la tua foto potrebbe venir utile agli archeologi :) A parte gli scherzi, è una foto ben fatta ed interessante!
