Old abandoned boat in the Sile river.
Perhaps 50 years ago the commerce (mainly foodstuffs) on the Sile river begun to die out and the many boats used for the transport stay now abandoned ower the embankments of the river.
Now a wooden footbridge allow you to visit the old abandoned boats. Of course the embankments are the more relaxing side of Treviso and our preferite route for run (or walk, stroll, photograph etc...)

I have posted another shot on this argument Here

Hi Giorgio!

abandoned boats!
good!

great picture! one of my favorites motives.

Great title as well!

K.

Very nice and unusual boat picture
Colors are great, not oversaturated and the whole feels peaceful.

Ciao Giorgio, bella inquadratura e informazione interessante! Mi piace in particolare il tono basso dei colori e la nitidezza dell'immagine.

usually we see colourful boats contrasting with surroundings and thus creating nice, eye-catching pics; this one, though, i perceive as a "scientific" analysis of boats construction; now seriously - great idea to show nearly debris-boats in their natural environment; the grass inside the objects is cool

I like very much the subject and the way you´ve composed the image. Very beautiful old wood with some rusty details is always worth of capturing, I think... Beautiful brown and green overal colors. Swimming coot(?) is a nice detail, too.

beautiful picture and composition, well done your POV is very good too, bravo Giorgio!

Ciao Giorgio, I like the excellent details from the boat structure you captured here with the help of the light, also growing plants in the boat are a sign there have been standing there for a while...

Il ritorno a Madre Natura di questa vecchia e gloriosa barca. Una bella composizione anche per omogeneità di colori. Good textures. Un imprenditore di buona iniziativa potrebbe pensare di produrre delle barche giardino. P.S. Peccato che non ci siano macchine e segnali stradali! ;))))

Hello Gorgio,

This shot is excellently composed. Here, I like a lot this close-up framing on the boats. And the light combined with a strong sharpness offers beautiful textures on the wooden hull ...The sharpness is so crisp than I can number all the nails ;) Well done, Gorgio. A Beautiful shot.

there is beauty in everything, even the abandoned.
this will attest to that fact!
Benedict
