La zona è un altopiano particolarmente pregiato sotto il profilo ambientale. Da questi boschi l'antica Repubblica di Venezia ricavava il legno per le navi e gli edifici.

Signs and written into the landscape.
The area is a plateau particularly valuable to the environment. From these woods an ancient Republic of Venice drew the wood for ships and buildings.
