Photographer's Note

Natural confluence of all the countries of Comelico (which is the name of this part of Veneto), Santo Stefano was and still is known as a center of trade in timber and other products of the mountain. With several workshops for woodworking, it had until the last century many mills.
located at 908 mts above sea level it is surrounded by many dolomitic peaks like Monte Tudaio (2140 mts), Krissin (2503 mts), Arnaiola (2456 mts) and Popera (2513 mts).

I like that you're showing us a different side of Italy, the landscape rural side :)
even just looking at this view it lowers my blood pressure.
Its a place where I wish I could just go for a walk myself.

Ma devo dire che grazie a quella esperienza, ho conosciuto una parte della nostra Italia bella e piacevole. Qiuesta foto mi ricorda i luoghi che ho conosciuto e che ho rivisto una sola volta.
