Sassolungo (Sasso Lungo well, lad. Sasslonch, German Langkofel) (which in all these languages is Long Mountain) - in the Dolomites mountain range between the valleys of Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, near the village of Wolkenstein and Campitello di Fassa.

The massif can be divided into the following nodes:

Sassolungo 3181 m above sea level
Spallone del Sassolungo 3081 m above sea level
Punta delle Cinque Dita 2,998 m above sea level
Punta Grohmann 3126 m above sea level
Torre Innerkofler 3098 m above sea level
Tooth Sassolungo 3001 m above sea level

This is not what I think of when I think of Italy. Very nice texture and color in the rocks but I think the sky and the green in the valley could use a little boost, but what a great location indeed!

Wonderful point of view. I like that you have a little bit of close ground in the foreground to help give this much depth. Nice details and clarity.

Bardzo ciekawy widok na Dolomity.
Bardzo lubiê chodziæ po górach, ale niestety nie czêsto mi siê to udaje, dlatego chêtnie ogl±dam takie widoki.
