Saint-Rhemy-en-Bosses est situé sur la route du col du Grand-Saint-Bernard, en Italie, proche de la frontière suisse. C'est une petite station de sports d'hiver.

Ici, une vue du village avec en fond les sommets alpins.

Saint-Rhemy-en-Bosses is located on Grand-Saint-Bernard road, in Italy, near Swiss border. It is a small ski resort.

well, that's a place i would like to spend some time... in summer though, as i dont like cold and snow... looks like a corner of heaven on earth... beautiful postcard JB...

I notice some oversharpening and also some too smooth areas in this image but overall is a great composition. The view is breathtaking with the snowy mountain creating a superb background to this village. Nice combination of colours and contrast. This place seem perfect for the avid photographer and hiker. Belle composition pour ce beau paysage. J'aurais tendance à penser l'accentuation et la saturation des couleurs un peu trop fortes mais je pense qu'il s'agit d'un choix délibéré de ta part que je respecte donc entièrement.

Certe la montagne semble être un brin trop contrastée mais cela donne je trouve à l'image un effet 3D vraiment très réussi.
Le village en avant plan semble se blottir contre la montagne pour se réchauffer.
Une très belle image .

Such a wonderful time, as the spring is slowly arriving in the valleys while the snow stays longer on the peaks. I love all these diagonal lines in the composition, they add dynamic to this scenery. You had favourable light and managed the colours very well. What i find strange are the blurry skies, trees and meadow. I'm sure it's the effect of some noise reduction soft, but i think it's slightly overdone.

Hello JB,

I have to agree with some of the comments that it is really too contrasted. And what happened to the trees? The electricity poles are sharp and the trees are washed out like you went over them with a noise brush. And then the tree-line against the white snowy background... Yeah, well. It's a nice composition, but it's really a bit off on the side of post-processing...

very pleasant frame! Excellent light management with very good details, too! I like the roofs in front of these snow-covered peaks, what to say for the attractive sky! The tine yellow flowers in the foreground work perfectly for this composition.

L'image est bien construite. Les tranches de paysage sont bien présentes et la netteté peut-être un peu trop numérique. La neige est superbe.

Les mélèzes ont des couleurs incertaines entre celles de l'automne et du printemps. J'aime la composition avec la diagonale des premiers plan et les autres plans qui viennent y buter. Beau rendu de la neige et du ciel.

Wonderful mix of different seasons at different heights. Yellow dandelions dotting the spring green field. Trees still in less fresh colours a bright white snow on upper slopes. Beautiful momnet and very nice old village too.

Wow! This is a fantastic shot. Your composition is great using the lines created by the mountain slopes to lead the eye to the center of the shot. The diagonal created by the houses compliments the other lines from the mountains behind. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

As we say it, a very wooly image, means it lacks a bit of detail which can be seen in the trees on the right. Think you pushed it just a bit to far in the pp. but i would like to express my feeling about the composition and the way you make the colours look great from the houses and the snowpeak mountain, they are absolute wonderful.

comme ça arrive parfois, ton traitement est excellent mais le ciel pêche un peu par rapport au reste au niveau de la luminosité ou bien du contraste
à part ça, chaque plan de ce paysage est un régal :)

Beautiful scene, I like the colors and the special light. Excellent compo--the brown roofs, the fir trees-covered mountain, the green and yellow meadow, but what I like best is the white mountain in the center with the shadows of the clouds on the snow.

cadrage parfait pour capter toute la beauté naturelle de ce paysage alpin. Je connais cet endroit, et ta photo le met en valeur avec maîtrise, avec une lumière splendide et quelques belles couleurs du printemps, où nous pouvons profiter du fort contraste entre la neige aux sommets et les fleurs jaunes dans les prés, et avec ce charmant petit village.
Une belle photo, mon ami, très bien réalisée.

J'avais sauté celle là ... superbe paysage avec un angle qui donne une composition très équilibrée, les couleurs sont top avec cette luminosité, c'est très bien pris.

Le PP rend la compo quasiment 3D. Et le contraste entre le printemps et l'hiver est absolument top. Très sympa.
