Downstream from the Lillaz waterfalls, the small village built around the beautiful scenery within the eastern part of the Gran-Paradiso Park.
Looking over a bridge, I saw this flowers-pots mounted on a high pole, and mingle in fine contrast to the verdant & water surroundings.

never seen a flower pots mouted on a high pole. really nice. good p.o.v. with the creek on the right and vegetation in bg.

What an interesting way of displaying flower pots! I like the point of view, looking down the fast running river toward the village. The image is pleasantly lit and has lovely natural colours and exceptional sharpness.

The length of the river is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the scenery and the strengh of the currant of the river. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ike,
Thnaks for all your comments. If you passing by Montreux next time, try to arrange short stop over there. The Geneva lake promenade is excellent in Montreux. Nice walk with many parks, restaurants and coffee shops. Best time from March till October.
I like this photo excellently composed in vertical format. The fresh stream is nicely leading through the frame to the village houses and green hills in BG. The flower pots are very good focal point. Well done!!!!

The tall vertical, with its display of flower pots, is perfect for your f/g and draws attention to the wall, the natural lead, alongside the stream, into the b/g.
Great depth of field and a multitude of interesting details, make this a fine shot.

I have never seen so many little flower pots on a tree - I wonder if it is a memorial or just a clever decoration of a bare tree.

Very good chosen portrait format and a scne full of beauties and dynamism.
The post at left with flower pots is a real artisanal work. Maybe one of my next projects in my garden !
I wonder how they solve the problem of watering !!

Un beau cadrage de ce torrent avec une belle couleur de l'eau, de gros cailloux, et une belle perspective avec la montagne en arrière plan
Et ce cadrage et format nous permettent d'apprécier cette jolie plante à gauche et dont la couleur apporte une note complémentaire de couleur

Hi Ike,
very interesting flower composition, well spotted. The surrounding is beautiful with the foreground lit with a great light as opposed to the shaded mountain. You have really seen a huge variety of places in one trip. Great idea which I will keep in mind for the future.

I don't believe I've ever seen anything like that before, very interesting indeed. The color of those flowers really stand out against the blues and greens of the scene, very well composed to show off the contrast. Such beautiful natural landscape here Ike, great work in pulling it together, especially with the hard shadows on the background mountainside...which actually helps to create some depth. Nice recognition in capturing this image.

Hello Ike,

Beautiful surrounding.

The vertical position creates an extra depth
and emphasizes extra the purple flowers left
in the picture and the river.
