Photographer's Note

View towards the west on the Aiguills du-Diable, needle sharp rocks.
With the Alpine-Botanical garden on Mt.-Frety at 2173m altitude.
The peaks are at 4100m +/-, while the highet top on Mont-Blanc is at 4810m.
A majestic scenery, to my view.

Wow, what rugged landscape...this is fascinating to look at Ike, so much to process here. As you've put it, "majestic scenery" is a very fitting description. I'm loving the composition, the foreground leads into the frame on a bit of a diagonal line and then the peaks shoot up vertically with another set going diagonal again in the opposite direction. The lighting gives so much clarity and detail and the cabin adds a nice bit of color along with the scattered ground cover. Quite an impressive scene. Bravo!

Superb POV with these rugged peaks dotted with snow, everything is pure rock, these lovely plants we see between them, the wooden house is a nice touch of high alpine mountains.

Scarce mountain plants, but how instructive to visitors and I presume no mountain goat can ruin those, given the steep needles of Aiguilles du Diable.
How an hostile environment can be so appealing, especially when captured with such finery!

Well, where have you been hiding this!
It must be one of the most beautiful shots that you have posted from Italy.
The f/g grabs attention with the highly textured rocks and the pretty alpine flowers; the m/g has the excellent details of the wooden chalet and, when things don't seem as if they can get better, the rugged, cloud-topped mountains, emerge like giants, towering protectively and giving an awe inspiring b/g.

Looks like a natural botanical garden, just affix labels to growing plants. Those mountains peaks are amazing, and this was taken in June still with snow covering them. Good lighting and dof with sharp deails. Well done, tfs.

What a beautiful mountainscape you`ve captured here. Incredible that a botanical garden is located at this altitude. The cabin and the flowers creates a nice foreground in this nice nature scene. You have made a good attempt here, choosing to go in tight on the wooden house. The composition works well, and the focus with deep DOF draws the attention not only to the house but also to the mountains behind. The house itself is very well-exposed. Asymmetrical arrangement creates excellent balance and harmony. Excellent!!!

Hello Ike,

You're capturing well this landscape by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the mountain range with the steep cliff and snow, and foot with a cottage. It's interesting the surrounding around the cottage are rocks, too. And, in spite of high ground, that the plant has made the flower bloom gives the forcibleness of a life.
