Photographer’s Note

This evening I begli a little serie dedicate to this wonderful place

Plans Castelluccio is the bottom of an ancient lake near Castelluccio di Norcia, now disappered, known for its karst phenomena.
Plans are three, are located in 1,350 m s.l.m. and cover an area of 15 km ². In particular:
• the Pian Grande
• the Pian Piccolo
• the Pian Perduto.
In the most southern part of the Pian Grande is the curious "fosso del Mergani" what apparently seems to be a water powered by a source is actually a valley by a grain shape ending in a inghiottitoio end where the rainwater intercepted by the ditch Mergani.
They are famous for Fiorita, namely the massive flowering phenomenon that colors the plan in late May and early July (especially poppies, fiordalisi, daisies) and represents a unique natural spectacle, do not miss it eh .
