Taken while wandering aimlessly around the beautiful old city of Amelia this summer, camera in hand and enjoying the attractive views that greeted me around every little corner. Here a rather quaint row of steps leads between levels of the city, passing beneath its lovely old buildings.
Shot in RAW and converted and edited in PSE9.

I like this elegant composition with very good depth. The plants provide a colourful line that continues into the vault, where there is something looking like a fire (is that possible?). Where there is light at the end of the tunnel a person appears.
This looks like a street worth climbing just to see what lies behind it.

beautiful composition, which restores well various textures, matters and colors, and in more you had great idea to wait, until the lady in top of walk, comes to give life to the image, to shot.

sometimes its good to walk around aimlessly! I do it all the time :)
Elegant and classy scene, very charming too.
the person standing at the very end is a bir creepy though haha
I like these photos where we gain height and it ascends. and the window shutters are my favorite small detail.
as for the HDR, yeah, i'm secretivly hoping to change a few peoples minds about HDR - I really do think its gotten a bad rap. But, i do also believe in respecting others opinions, so i'm not going to push it either. Its fun to produce appropriate HDR scenes and read peoples surprised thoughts.

Ahh I knew this was Italy even before enlarging the photo. What a beautiful little street you've captured. You really evoke the feeling one gets when walking around little towns like this in Italy. And you're making me incredibly nostalgic for Italy damn you! Wonderful POV, excellent depth of field - we can see all he way to the end of the steps sand of course great light management in a situation that looks pretty tricky.
Thanks for sharing, have a lovely weekend and I hope the cheese sambo went down ok

I am so addicted to TE, so what to do when there is free Wifi at the airport and I have stiill two hours to my Bangkok flight?
Fine shot from Italy, impressive depth up the stairs. Since tomorrow I will see quite different views :).

The lady at the top of the stairs is really the central point of the picture. The lines along the stairs are clearly leading the eyes up to her and I nearly forget the beautiful building and the colourful flowers.
