Terria
Terria is a small fraction of Ferentillo, gathering around a castle. On the border of the province of Perugia, the ancient town is located in 2 small villages seats facing each other: Terria and De cuntra. The name "Terria" is due to the fragility of the land (LAND-RIA). Of great importance in addition to the tower of the twelfth century., Are the churches of San Lorenzo, the patron saint of the country, and Our Lady of Rosaro containing frescoes of the sixteenth century. It is located at a height of 425 m above sea level and, following a heavy emigration, and the nearby village of Contra Terria are now populated by only 30 inhabitants (census ISTAT 2001).
