Orvieto
Pleasant town of 21,019 inhabitants in the province of Terni in Umbria.
It is located on a tuff cliff overlooking the valley of the river Paglia.
Of Etruscan origin , and among the most notable , The name comes from Urbs Vetus , the "old town " located on the cliff, probably to be identified with the Etruscan Volsinii . In fact, after the Roman conquest of the inhabitants of Volsinii , were transferred to other locations ,
