Firenzuola was the last possession of Acquasparta to the territory of Spoleto Lombard. And even now is the extreme edge of the municipal district of the town.
Lands Arnolfe old castle, built in mediaeval times as the Gallicitulo or Gallicitoli near the old church of Santa Maria in Rupino.
In 1439 he had already taken the name of Firebaugh.
It can be reached by car from the road linking Acquasparta and Spoleto, the provincial 418. Firenzuola is now little more than a handful of houses on top of a hill overlooking the valley occupied by the artificial lake of Arezzo (also called Firebaugh).
It was once an important border castle, the medieval keep the general appearance, some parts of the walls and the two ports connected by a single path.
Gallicitoli was dominated by the family, whose coat of arms is carved in the lintel of a house outside the town.

Again a shot giving view to a double opening
Very impressed by the light management, avoiding the overexposure in the sky, something happening quite often in this kind of situation
Bravo and have a nice WE

Un angle judicieusement choisi pour nous faire voir les deux ouvertures autour d'un bâtiment central. De l'excellent travail et un bon coup d'oeil.
Merci pour le partage et bonne soirée.

this is a really interesting image, the double perspective of two gates makes me look at it again and again.
Great and tricky

primo e secondo canale... ci vorrebbe il telecomando!
Bellissima questa doppia finestra sul mondo, tra l'altro in due scorci meravigliosi.
Un caro abbraccio

Very interesting image with a vast angle of view, noiseless dark parts and various contrasts. It's a surprise that there is no garbage on this street. Beautiful and clean town.
This image reminds me of using my 12-24 mm.
Have a nice weekend, Hisashi

A two ways lookout, Silvio, nice idea - well taken.
Reduced backlight-effect, and nice play between shadows and light.

Again a worth seeing and worth reading contribution! I like how you handled the difficult light here and these totaslly different outlooks here really are amazing and fascinating. An intriguing composition ...

molto bello il POV che hai scelto per questo scatto, sembrano due foto in una, una foto difficilissima da gestire con la messa a fuoco, lo hai fatto in maniera eccellente, complimenti.

what a marvelous composition, you could make a story out of excellent composition and great control of highlights and shadows. A picture with dynamism, love your view point and how the passage ways invite the eye to wander. Archway shots are always intriguing and there is a mix of invitation and mystery. There are lots of random elements working well. Good lead-through both ways with the cobbled pathway and beyond. Strong on detail, the stonework is fascinating with lots of charm about this place. Lighting is good and the overall effect is very pleasing to the eye. Brilliant capture,a place of historal value. Congrats. Best regards

Composizione molto buono, rivelando al tempo stesso, attraverso l'arco, il paesaggio e la strada.
La luce è eccellente e il posto sembra molto interessante.
