Just another old village in the heart of Italy.
Its name is Collestatte and is on top of an hill surrounded by woods. The walls around the village are small but mainly intact.
Taken at sunset from west side, about 1 km far from it (0.6 miles) with about 5x zoom, the air was not very clean and I had to work with contrast a lot.
I cloned some wires and cars.

I have seen many shots of different villages in Italy similar to this, and they always impress me. Everything is so unified and close together, much different than a typical American village, it is very nice to see this. You capture this village well. Great composition and POV.
Not that it is of much importance, but I really don't like your frame. A solid black or white would work much better, this frame is rather distracting. Perhaps other would disagree, this is only my personal taste.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice rural picture. The POV is very good as well as the sharpness and colours. I'm not sure about your frame however but it's just a detail.

I like the frame. Photography as art - and I think that you've artistically added a personal touch without distracting from the subject.

Hi ALberto, it was your framing that attracted me to your photo. It is original and creative. Instead of just pasting a border around your photo, you actually blurred the sides to create the framing. How do you feel about either darkening or lightening the frames so it would be easy to see or obvious.
