When you come to Spoleto, hopefully soon, you can visit its magnificent monuments, majestic Albornoz Fortress overlooking the city, the highest bridge of the Towers, the magnificent Duomo, the many magnificent Romanesque churches, ancient ruins of the Roman Spoleto, The its museums, palaces and noble houses, but at least for an hour aimlessly wander past for its narrow streets, away from the traffic, enjoy the silence and shadow, you will not regret.

Those buildings look very old but looks functional, I wonder how old they are. Nicely captured with good details. Well done, tfs.

A nicely composed photo and a pretty view of the narrow lane. The vaults keep the composition together well and there are many details to watch among the balconies nd steps. You have handled the light very well and the colours look fresh and natural.

This looks like a very old place, and could be a scene from a thousand stories of mystery and intrigue. I always love these scenes when there is no people, do this is magical for me. Beautiful management of the light with all these shadows and to still get the sky as blue. Your note makes me want to go here very soon.
Best wishes from Ireland

Ciao caro Silvio,
I remember wandering aimlessly around Amelia (not that far from Spoleto) three years ago and loving all these little narrow alleys and streets with their old buildings. Lovely to see the little back streets and see the people going about their daily lives.
You have caught this street beautifully and coped with the relatively poor lighting extremely well. A very fine composition with the stairway on the left leading the eye upwards from the near plant pots to the arch and the clear blue sky above.
Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.

Excellent composition with the narrow yard and old trees. All in excellent light, nicely framed in vertical format.
Very well done.

Hello Silvio - It seems to me that one only has to walk around Italian towns and villages to be presented with a wonderful photo opportunity at almost every turn. To my eyes, these back street images are every bit as interesting as photographs of the great churches and monuments Italy has so many of. You made good use of your flash here, the light is evened out but there are no tell-tale harsh shadows.

The street is obviously very old, but the buildings look sound and presumably offer reasonable accommodation for the occupants. They certainly make for a very interesting photographic composition. I like the lighting and the excellent textural detail.

nice street shot taken through the arches which helped to achieve better depth. Despite the obscureness of the place the picture look actually quite smart with all the colors slightly enhanced and the old bits add some character to it. Good framing and sharpness.
Thanks for sharing

J'aime vraiment beaucoup cette composition. Le cadrage vertical est superbe et cette petite rue aux maisons grises est vraiment très belle. J'aime beaucoup le coin de ciel bleu au dessus de l'arche.

Ciao Silvio, it looks old and neglected and as such very picturesque. "When you come to Spoleto, hopefully soon" - I hope to visit Spoleto one day...

Oh, i really enojoy the rough look of this one.
so many of the subjects here look as though they need to be repaired, and its that aspect of it that gives the scene charm and rustic elegance.
well shot and seen.

Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buon pomeriggio,

The compo invites viewers to explore this historic dwelling sight with lots of interest, detail in the building architecture is simply superb that have a special enchantment about them. The olde ambient is remarkable and full of good natural colours, a very evocative narrow alley with character well shot.

The length of the Via is giving depth to the composition. The arches are helping to frame the scene. The point of view is showing the details and the colors of the facade of the buildings. Have a nice dfay.
