Photographer's Note

We are in Spoleto, in the area of "Our Lady of the Gardens", which takes its name from a church now converted into a private residence.
Here were the "houses" of the Middle Ages and up to when I was a child was inhabited by poor people, prostitutes and beggars. Even though no significant monuments district has its own charm, made of tranquility, largely inaccessible to traffic without the need for signage, full of spontaneous building solutions.
In the picture a house with stairs outside in via Bracceschi.
