Spoleto - Rocca Albornoziana
Made in the fourteenth century by Matteo Gattapone da Gubbio commissioned by Cardinal Albornoz is a massive rectangular building along its perimeter dominate six towers, connected by walkways which surround two internal areas: the courtyard of arms, troops and that honor. This courtyard, at whose center is a well with papal coats of arms is surrounded by a two-story portico on which overlook a large reception room and the room in the castle with valuable frescoes.

Another fine photograph from Spoleto, a place I must visit sometime.

You have managed the exposure here superbly well: there are still lots of fine details in the archway despite its being in relative shade compared to the distant snow covered view. The composition is excellent too, the arch framing the picture beautifully and the addition of two people adding the "human element" and interest. The distant tower is also perfectly placed in the picture.

Lovely soft colours, perfect exposure and excellent detail and sharpness.

Mi stupisco sempre per le mie assenze da TE .
Ritornando indietro mi rendo conto che perdendo foto e note, indebolisco la mia curiosità e il BG che viene offerto.
Riflettevo sui borghi ricchi dell'appennino, e la povertà delle vecchie case campidanesi di fango.
La cultura della pietra e dell'arredo.
