Dedicated to Assessore Francesco (francio64)
Spoleto, like part of the situated seriale "Italy langobardorum. Centers of Being able and cult ", have been introduced like candidate to the List of the World-wide Patrimony of the Unesco. The city of the Festival, with to Campello and others five Italian truths, ago part of the situated seriale "Italy langobardorum. Centers of Being able and cult ", only a situated one that collects the greater testimonies of the culture longobarda in its moment of maximum expressive ability, before the fall of the territories of the center and Italy north to work of the Franchi di Carl Magno The assets comprised in Situated "Italy Langobardorum. Centers of being able and cult (568-774 d.C.)", are following: to Cividale of Friuli (UD) the area of the Gastaldaga with cd. the Tempietto Longobardo, and the episcopal Complex with the rests of the below Patriarcale Palace National the Archaeological Museum; to Brescia the monastero of Saint Salvatore-Santa Julia; to Castelseprio (the area of the castrum with the Tower of Torba and the church GOES) extra-moenia of Saint Maria foris portas; to Spoleto (PG) the Basilica of Saint Salvatore; to Campello (PG) the Tempietto of the Clitunno; to Benevento the complex of Sofia Saint with the church and the annexed one chiostro, part of the abbey that today accommodates the Museum of the Sannio;a Mount S.Angelo (FG) the Sanctuary of Saint Michele.
The Basilica of Saint Salvatore, situated on the left side to the term of the way of the Cemetary, and to little distance from the complex of Saint Ponziano, it is still, in spite of the manomissioni and modifications endured in the centuries, one of the more important and rare testimonies of paleocristiana architecture. The Church, the "greater monument spoletino of the antiquity", as it defined it a century ago the student and Giuseppe archaeologist Mutes, although the recent restorations still is excluded from the traditional tourist distances and negletta from the same ones spoletini, condemned to one risen of "exile" because of the cimiteriale destination, and still voted to a ingiustificato abandonment. The temporal positioning of the construction of the basilica, not existing documents that date the event in inequivocabile way, must be estimated by means of the direct examination of the building. In a generalized manner three various guidelines have been manifested: Paleocristiana origin between the IV and V the century (more reliable hypothesis). Altomedievale origin between the VIII and IX the century. Connected Romanesque origin to the taken place artistic closing to Spoleto between the XII and XIII the century. The purity and the classicità of the architectonic lines, in particular of the presbiterio but also of the facade, for how much residual one, the presence of clear elements of derivation orients them, obvious fruit of cospicua the colony of monaci siriaci present to Spoleto in the first centuries of the Christianity, makes to incline for the hypothesis of the paleocristiana basilica. One is in that relieves to you also from the opinion of the most eminent student than history of the art spoletino, the professor Tawny From Tuscany. During the years the basilica has endured of the restoration jobs, in particular in 1906, 1919-21, 1938, 1950 and 2000, in order to free it from the alterations endured in the course of the centuries. The facade conserve still the three doors and the three windows, having also lost its primitiva partition. The three doors of the basilica are committees in fragmentary conditions, and of these only that one centers them, arrogant adorned, has conserved its function of use; the others appeared bulwarks, before the last restoration, even if are possible to distinguish of the constituent elements. In the course of the last jobs of restoration, during the taking apart of the fregio of the architrave of the door they centers, carved probably in YOU century with a reason of flowers and turns them between which the cross camps slap, the posterior face has revealed the belongings of the great monoargument to a roman funerario monument of I century d. C. The repeated presence of the cross nearly seems ribadire the cristianità of the place, than a lot it must to the pagana classic art of Rome. Probable that the inferior part of the facade was in origin covered from intonaco and is impreziosita from a covered porch and that advanced one of bugnato in stone. In the advanced part of the facade they detach the three windows. Remarkable it is that one centers them, constituted from an arc to all sixth framed from one fine metal ring, in which to elements of the purest classicità sixteen strange radial elements of the all inusuali in the decorations of the age couple themselves and that they could be of derivation orients them. The lateral windows, instead, are of the type to fronton, recalling but in adorned and the dimensions the beautifulst window they centers. The prospect of the basilica was subdivided in two orders from a frame horizontal, single in conserved part, from which four lesene left fluted sormontate from capitelli and crowned from fregio and triangular eardrum.
The inside of the basilica, to three navate, is divided from tamburi of doriche columns and pillars in seven spans. These later on came nearly all tamponate to a restoration of VIII the navate century that snaturò the primitivo ordering of, the today ideally ricostruibile through fragments survivors: a sequence of columns doriche, perhaps of perusal, subordinates to a trabeazione and concluded up from a frame, on which enclosing ionic series of lesene riquadri similar to matronei feints found place one; the sopraelevazione of the navata one centers them was articulated in wide windows to all sixth, adorned of metal ring. The original structure of the building is still very visible in the presbiterio where is found, associated to a dorica trabeazione, high columns corinzie, perhaps anch' they of perusal, that they support one cupola. The main navata one, on which great windows are opened, finishes with a placed side by side circular apse from two lateral square ones. In the absidiola of the left navate one they are represents benedictory Eternal Father, in the lunetta, and Madonna to you between Saint Paul and San, work much deperita of a gozzolesco painter. In the apse, to the center of the curvilinear wall, in a exceeded arc to sixth v' is one gemmata cross, rest of the decoration connected to the rifacimento of VIII the century. In the apse, to the center of the curvilinear wall, in a exceeded arc to sixth v' is one gemmata cross, rest of the decoration connected to the rifacimento of VIII the century. In the pavement of the apse a impiantito rest of to opus alexandrinum, perhaps pertinent to renewed litostrato in Romanesque age is found. In the absidiola of right pittoriche decorations of the same hand of that left: they are represents benedictory Eternal Father, in the lunetta, and Madonna to you between Saint Concordio and San Sebastiano, dated work 1478.

Sto diventando famoso in questo sito a quanto pare.
Sei tu uno dei miei sostenitori? ;)

ottimo lavoro
un abbraccio
