Villa Fidelia
The Villa Fidelia ( or Costanzi villa ) is located at the base of a hill along the road in the territory of Central Umbria Spello . Built in the sixteenth century by the family Urbani on the ruins of a sanctuary belonging to a set of sacred classical era (fourth century) , passing in the eighteenth century to Donna Teresa Grillo Pamphili that turns it completely.
Between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries is realized by G. Piermarini a casino at the opposite side ( north end of the sanctuary ), which is then modified in the first years of '900 by the C.Bazzari .
Villa Fidelia is a collection of sacred classical era and this has been strongly influenced in its ground plan and plant , to the point that , despite the buildings and gardens have arisen in later times , the imprint of the ancient sanctuary adjusted the work of building and later periods in order to make the complex appear a whole unit , not loose and fragmented.
The villa is currently in public ownership and is set up inside , for temporary exhibitions, concerts and shows to the outside in the large grassy area to the side of the baroque garden .
