Small town and castle of Spoleto.
Formerly part of the Terre Arnolfe and lordship of the Marquis of Cesi for centuries has been linked to the town of Spoleto.
A delightful little village completely restored to the traditional building types.
The castle, built in the fourteenth century is now a high and mighty tower. Near the tower there is the church of Saint Apollinaris of the twelfth century, of a single nave, shows a fresco on the left side of the eighteenth century, while a small shrine on the right. In the churchyard are the remains of some Roman columns and two sarcophagi and several large stones from Roman times which suggest that this village has developed in the Middle Ages on the ruins of a Roman building.

A well captured peaceful atmosphere. Life looks pleasant in the quiet alley and the grey stones is cheered up with lots of green plants. The perfect exposure is impressive.

Everyday I see your photos in FB and never cease to appreciate them, by your mastery in capturing the environment of those Italian villages, either the "rock/architecture environment" or, like here, with the human presence also. Here I sense also a very pleasant mood of "summer holidays" in the country, hot days and so on. Very well done!

Rock textures and details from classical architecture, enhanced by the large arch passageway, a fine place to stop and relax.
Would enjoy visiting, sauntering, and soaking in the history and culture.
Thanks for sharing,

Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona giornata,

Excellent photos of the atmosphere, the real street of Italy (I do not mean on north)!
For my taste a little to bright, especially background.

So Spoleto is made of stones presented here in bridge as well as at the street, contrasting well with vegetation
Ambiance is calm, people talking in a relaxed way
Well done, buona settimana

la tua composizione classica, fatta da archi e pietre, questa volta si arricchisce di persone che frescheggiano e che chiacchierano, dando vita alla foto.
