A fine capture of a lovely scenery. The red and green tones of the foreground are captivating, only matched by the sight of the shepherds and their sheep. A scene from a modern country where still some things look exactly the same as they have done since the beginning of history.

Ahh, una foto da favola. Ogni volta che vedo una foto di Castelluccio, penso del nostro scugnizzo Silvio. Imamgino che lui adora questa foto. Bellissimi il misto di colori e fiori. I toni rossi, arancia e verdi fanno una sinfonia. Ottima anche la tessitura e taglio stretto che accentua lo stile quasi-astratto. Complimenti e ti auguro una bella giornata.

Ciao Valter,

As soon as I saw this one with all the beautiful poppies in the foreground, I was immediately reminded of some of Silvio's lovely photographs and I thought, "Castelluccio"! - and I was right! Lisa, incidentally, has also told me that she believes that Castelluccio must be one of the most beautiful parts of Italy.

This is a beautiful country scene with rolling hills and beautiful colours. The bright red "carpet" of red flowers is absolutely stunning and I love the tiny sheep and the tiny people - they add a lot of interest as well as giving a good sense of scale.

Ciao Valter, sempre bello vedere la mia Castelluccio, quest'anno la fioritura è stata un po' moscia ma è sempre uno spettacolo favoloso, qui sei sulla salita per Forca di Presta alle pendici del Vettore, splendida distesa di papaveri, magnifici colori, bravo, buon week end, ciao Silvio

I love the way that the light catches the grass on the slopes giving beautiful bright green patches. The carpet of red flowers in the FG is magnificent and leads the eye towards the hills. The sheep add important detail in this carefully photographed landscape.
