The evening arrival and dinner at the Abbey of Castel San Felice confirm the presence at dinner, I will be available by the afternoon for any contingencies

Saturday 14 July

Meet at 8.15 at the Abbey of San Felice (Castel San Felice) here you go Arquata del Tronto with a few shots at the points of interest (medieval fortress), go to Borgo - and Piedilama Pretare Galluccio and stop from the Hill for a panoramic shot, then to Montegallo.
A Leap from the balcony to stop the photo to the carrier (in the morning if you do not encounter very late there is a fabulous light. Once here you can go directly to the Gole the Sanctuary dell'Ambro dell'Infernaccio and where we have lunch, you please confirm the presence at lunch, after returning from Castelluccio. If you later by Dodge can continue to Montemonaco and stay at the San Lorenzo Vallegrascia (XII century Romanesque church.), at St. George 'Island (Romanesque church X sec.), Lake Gerosa, the small fraction of Altino situated 1045 m above sea level, on the edge of the ancient forests of chestnut and beech forests of the band, topped by a green mantle of the mountain (Mount or Top of Altino Prata) , against the degradation of the mountain ridges of the Carrier, on the south side of the river Aso, is the highest town of the ancient settlement of all the Adriatic side of the Sibillini. From the viewpoint of Altino has a 360 degrees from the Apennines to sea, to the Mount Conero and the mountains of Abruzzo. The village lies along the Grande Anello dei Sibillini and consists of a delightful cluster of five houses by the plant-seventeenth-century with a small church in the center surrounded by green trees, then back and dinner at Castelluccio usual Casale degli amici of Norcia (confirm presence at dinner).

Departure at 8.15 from the Abbey of San Felice, Castelluccio and straight shots at will, you can dine in Castelluccio, at 13.30 at the inn of Senart, excellent value for money, after lunch for those who want to walk on Lost and slowly return.

Another fine entry in this superb landscape series with vibrant color & amazing warm cold colour contrasts between the red & blue sections of the patchwork quilt fields. This would make an excellent painting! The road & the row of power-lines add lead in lines & repetition. A marvellous high vantage point! Tfs!

So many pastel colors here and you presented this photo extremely well. The DOF is masterful and your POV and series are really good. How long will these colors last I wonder? Love this series Silvio, but I find this one to be my fav, great job!!

this is an attractive landscape of patchwork fields. I like that you have left the colours natural and not gone mad with the saturation tool. Nicely composed showing the land's undulations and the crisscross diagonal of telephone poles and fields.

If you're doing another TE meeting next year, I'd love to come along! This image, the latest in your new "series" is part of what makes me keen to revisit Italy: the graphic quality and colours are superb. The road and the line of pylons add another element of geometry, and your framing has successfully excluded all unnecessary details. Good work.

I love all of the Castelluccio photos. They look like abstract paintings. I picked this as my favourite because of the contrasting directions that the fields have. Very nicely composed. I want to be there.

Buongiorno Silvio,
un bellissimo quadro con intrigatissime morbide linee e prospettive che s' incrociano in modo ritmico ed elegante. Le forme, gli stupendi colori e le tessiture dei prati costituiscono un' immagine affascinante che lo sguardo vuole accarezzare piu volte. I pilastri introducono una prospettiva diversa e un motivo ripetitivo verticale che aggiunge un' altra dimensione e rende l' immagine pi`u dinamica. La luce `e gestita meravigliosamente.
