Castel San Felice

It is an ancient river terrace prehistoric habitat was an Umbrian and then a Roman colony. Early sixth century, at the time of Theodoric, he formed a hermitage, a monastic cell and agriculture, around an oratory: San Felice. Curtis was Lombard, included in Castaldato Bridge. In the twelfth century the agricultural colony gathered on the height, forming Castel San Felice, a fief of Duke Conrad of Urslingen; in 1198, step in Spoleto. According to tradition, Mauro came here, his son Felix and his nurse, at the time of Theodoric. He was one of the three hundred Syrian immigrants in Italy. S. Mauro and S. The original chapel, with the graves of the three, is now the crypt of the church.
