The Clitunno River, in Antiquity the Clitumnus, is a river in Umbria, Italy. The name is of uncertain origin, but it was also borne by the river god. The Clitunno rises at 42°49.5′N, 12°46′E from a spring within a dozen meters of the ancient Via Flaminia near the town of Campello sul Clitunno between Spoleto and Trevi: the spring was celebrated as a great beauty spot by the Romans but also by Byron and Giosuč Carducci; in the 19th century it was planted with willows, and jealously monitored for pollution, it is open today as a paying tourist attraction.
The Clitunno then flows 60 kilometers (36 miles) through the east Umbrian plain, past the Tempietto del Clitunno and the towns of Pissignano, Cannaiola, Trevi and Bevagna to join the Topino River, a tributary of the Tiber River, near Cannara. Though its current is usually sluggish, it is subject, like many other rivers in the east Umbrian plain, to sudden flooding: it was only tamed completely in the 19th century, and is largely banked by levees. I love how the blue and green interact together. Very beautiful colors and depth. The only thing I dislike is the harsh light at the top. Have you thought about cropping that out?

Una bella composizione che lascia molto spazio all'acqua ed ai riflessi. Vedo troppo chiari e forti i verdi delle piante, ma č questione di gusti o di ... monitor.
Ti auguro una buona serata.

Hello Davide, what a refreshing view you have taken here. The sense of depth is tremendous with good details, colours and lighting. It bears the marks of a good landscape shot. I feel however, that the bright sky in the BG is a bit of a distraction/glare which is also double up in the water reflection. Its just my opinion only.
You may consider at some stage to use a Circular Polariser which would helps you to avoid unnecessary glaring light reflection from a glossy surface. Great piece of work still!

bellissima scena con dei bei riflessi, vedo la parte alta leggermente sovraesposto, ma comunque non da' fastidio.

Some of your pictures seem to have very vivid colors, but in the case of this one, it comes out very nicely and give a very unreal atmosphere to the scene, especially this clear blue of the water.
All the best,

Bene Davide , Claude Monet avrebbe sicuramente realizzato un quadro come tu hai saputo realizzare questa foto degna di una esposizione in una Mostra fotografica. Buona giornata Maurizio
