Photographer’s Note
The hill towns in Tuscany have a feeling of being ancient magical places, and streets after dark and devoid of tourists take on a special warmth and timeless quality.
This photo was taken pre-dawn before the town awakened.

Wow! Well done picture of this tiny street. the composition is great. I always tried to make such picture but without success. Sure your camera is by far more better than mine, but I guess such pictures can also be made with a cheaper camera. But I guess it´s a question of the technique.

Hi again -
I was checking out your gallery and saw this one, which is a favorite style of mine - dark streets, chiaroscuro effect. I like the way the light merges into the shadows, especially at the top of the buildings. You might try using a bit of brushwork to tone down the street lamp - not much, but just enough so the eye isn't yanked to it.
Regards,
Dan

Hello Don
Nice light and perspective here with rich blacks and yellow tones. The font in your border looks pretty cool what is that typeface?

Jim
