Classic view of the Tuscan farmlands, from the area north of Siena. Unfortunately, the weather when I was there was not too great for landscape photography, mostly cloudy, but the sky cleared occasionally and gave me an opportunity. I used a polarizer on this, which really darkened the sky and gave the shot more visual impact, but the effect is slightly uneven, so the lower right is a bit lighter blue than the rest of the sky. I'd like to go back one day to see if I can get some of those great misty morning shots I've seen from others.

What a beauty !
What a delicioso...
you may ask me what so beautiful in there...?
Well.. I don't know... I usually don't critique the landscape photos, but, in this case...
I can hear the song of a lark somewhere there... High under those skies (???)
Naaah... It's late...I must be going nuts or somethn' ...
Remain brisk, Alvin

A good placement of the horizon with the trees on tne right. The colours are nicely saturated. Those tall evergreens are so classic Tuscanny.

These trees on top of the hill represent all the way how Tuscany landscapes are organized, good upwards perspecive to them and yes pola + wide angle result in differences in the sky color although the transition between the blues is smooth here.
Have a nice day JY

A classic it is. That sky is to die for and the polarization doesn't detract at all for me. You even got a positive Polonaise critique on a landscape so wear that one with pride my friend! He does not share those with just anyone. This one is simple and brings out the true essence of Tuscany in Autumn.
