From the top of the Mangia Tower of the medieval City Hall of Siena one can admire the full panorama of this wonderful Toscan town, with its palaces and churches covering the hilly landscape. But the most interesting view is probably that of the Campo, just at the foot of the tower. The space closed by a spectacular crescent of old palaces, the warm color of the brick and especially the people enjoying the gentle afternoon sun make all the view very mediterranean - and very enviable for those who can feel this wonder only for a time of a short visit...

Andras - The thumbnail looked so intriguing, and when I opened it - what a surprise! I've seen many pics of the Campo, and even was there, and your photo is spectacular, the Campo looking like a fan, and light is very nice. Man, it's a great shot! :) Daniel.
