This is one of most interesting squares I knew, it looks like and amphitheater and the stage would be the palace. I wanted to visit the building but it was closed because the town was receiving the president (Giorgio) and despite being a Giorgio too the president wasn't me.

Good POV and framing, excellent colors. However, I could not make out the EXIF data; it says focal length is 480/100, which would not make it wide angled (or would it?), but the photo displays a wide angle distortion. Or is this a panoramic stitch?
Distortions don't bother me, in fact, I kind of like them, but it is the fact that I couldn't figure it out that bothers me! :-)

Hi Jorge. I read the title with interest then had a little laugh when I read the note.Imposing architecture and beautiful Mediterranean light. Regards. Klaudio.

Good morning, Jorge,
I am not an expert, but these quadratic shapes remind me Spanish architecture style. Anyway, this is excellent photo of a postcard format.

this WAS an amphitheater! The ancient buildings (middle age and rinascimental buildings) were built in the same place of a roman amphitheater and the palace WAS a stage
great colors in this very good afternoon light

I like the architecture of these buildings.
The tower and decorative top is wonderful.
Nice details of the daily life and details of this urban landscape.
Composition and presentation be superb.
Very well done, TFS.

Well composed in the vertical format, superb colors and nice contrast with the shade at FG

I agree Jorge, this is a unique piazza/square with a special shape and architecture.
managed a full view of the tower from street level up.
Sun was already low, and shades are notable, a minor issue upon.

In spite of the wide angle distortions the view is magnificient from your position
If you point in a great part of the sky it's possible to adjust the exposure I have done a WS
