Photographer’s Note
Dark Entries
Caressing bent up to the jug again
With sheaths and pills
Invading all those stills
In a hovel of a bed
I will scream in vain
Oh please miss Lane
Leave me with some pain
Went walking through this city's neon lights
In fear of disguising my warping seathing
Pressure lines and graceless heirs
Intangible of price
Trying so hard to find what? What was right
I came upon your room it stuck into my head
We leapt into the bed degrading even lice
You took delight in taking down
All my shielded pride
Until exposed became my darker side
Puckering up and down some avenue of sin
Too cheap to ride they're worth a try
If only for the old times cold times
Don't go waving your pretentious love
He's soliciting on his tan brown brogues
Girating through some lonesome devils row
Pinpointing well meaning upper class prey
Of walking money checks posessing holes
He often sleekly offers his services
Exploitation of his finer years
Work with loosely woven fabrics
Of lonely office clerks
Any lay suffices his dollar green eye

Bellissimo questo colore caldo. Una bella inquadratura, in cui i toni del rosso e arancio avvolgono lo sguardo.
Mi ricordo di questa strada di Pienza. E mi ricordo anche che non avevo la macchina fotografica !

Hi Paolo
Good use of lead in lines, & diminishing linear perspective, with the closed door on the vanishing point. Superb colour & well managed dof. I like the predominant warm red & blue magenta colour tones. Ciao!

Ciao Paolo, this could have been nice even without that impressive, strong foreground that comes to us like a big long tongue. With it, it's really fantastic. And attractive colors too. Regards, Daniel

Ciao Paolo!
bei colori - e vedo che apprezzi il tipo di pavimentazione che è stato fatto.
Apena aperta la foto mi è sembrato di vedere l'accesso alla Risiera di San Sabba di Trieste, forse per le proporzioni e per la cupezza.
Ciao!!

Hi Paolo,
What I like here are the patterns textures and warm tones as well as the perspective looking down the lane to the door at the end. The lamp ends it off nicely.

Ciao Paolo,
Bello trabajo, creativo e interesante.
Un abrazo,
Josep

Hello Paolo
Although the colours are warm and welcoming the dark barred windows and closed door are definitely not, this, and the long path drawing us into the enclosed space, creates tension. An image with a strong character!
Best wishes Maggie

Ciao Paulo,
Very interesting shot because of the play on the yellow and ochre colors and the texture of the walls. The look is well drives in the picture to the dark door by the red pavement of the floor.
However, I think it would have been better to get the floor totally sharp which is not the case on the very close foreground. It is why I would suggest a cropping to remove a part of the bottom of the picture until it is in the deep of field. I put my suggestion in workshop.
Have a nice day,
Yves.

Ciao Paolo,
what beautiful warm colors and what a mix, orange and magenta a feast for the eyes...I like the minimalism of the composition, the road diminishing, the lines on the floor to the mysterious door. I would agree with Sevy's ws, of cropping a bit in the fg. Well done!
TFS, Cheers

Hi Paolo.
I like this picture because of the original low POV and interesting tight crop around the dead-end street. The colors and textures of the old walls are very nice and they give a very interesting atmosphere to the picture.
Thanks for sharing!
