A typicall view in the old Middle Ages city centre of the most part of north-central Italy villages and townes: Iron rings on the wall used in the past to tie the horse puttin the reins inside.

In the small city centre of Pienza the most part of the streets and the main square have dozens of this iron rings, with different shapes and decorations.

This one have a head of a screaming fox on the top.
