MORE

+ We spent the past 4 days in the souther Tuscany, in the Siena Province, visiting Pienza, Montepulciano, the Val d'Orcia and Siena.

+ We were in a wonderful Agriturismo 6 kilometers east of Pienza in the Trequanda Municipality, an old farm renovated on a top of a hill with a fantastic pano view on the valley.

+ We were really lucky, with 4 days of sun, sky without clouds and hot temperature (just a t-shirt during the day).

+ We visited one of the most beautiful area of the whole world, a land blessed by all the gods, with the famous sweet hills, colorful, with the forest with autumnal colours, and the fantastic villages and small cities built during the Rinascimento, monuments, cathedrals, monumental squares everywhere, fantastic sunsets...we had all...

+ We had also excellent dinner and lunch in the local restaurants, drinking top level wines, visiting the "cantine" with tasting tour...

LESS

- Yesterday morning at 11.20 a.m. we leaved Pienza on the way back to Milan.
420 kms and normally 4.30 by car.
We were arrived in Milan at 8.40 p.m.
Total time by car: 9.40 hours!
There were mn at works all around the highway of Firenze, and just to go there, less tha 70 kms, we spent 3 hours.
Fortunally we were in the late morning, 'cause in the afternoon people spent more than 6.30 hours to do that 70 kms!
Then after Firenze Traffic Radio estimated other 3.30 hours to go to Bologna (110 kms), so we jumped out of the Highway Roma-Milano and we took the Firenze-Mare, then the Viareggio-La Spezia, but also that one was full of cars, so we went out the highway, running on the Ligurian Alps on small streets, pass at 1000 meters and we took again the highway Genova-Milano, were after few miles of good traffic we found another jam long more than 50 kms...

- So...this is not the end...'cause a polite gypsye in an Autogrill close to Arezzo, stolen in the bag of my wife.
Inside there were 4 credit cards, Identity Card, not few money, Driver's license, National identification number, Regional Health Card...

It was a wonderful vacation...with some "small" troubles.
