Photographer’s Note

Photo taken in Val d' Orcia covering the Cassia from the Amiata towards Pienza. The zone is rich of country houses that here are called “poderi”. They are hoases that in past were farm, but today they have been transformed in expensive houses.

Hello Fabio,

You play very well with light and shadow, the three part picture make this village nice and attractive, it's always very difficult for all perfectly to make, little bit grainy in the sky, but I like also with the grainy of this wonderful panorama image.

Ciao Fabio,
la Val d'Orcia deve essere proprio bella. Ho visto tante foto di questo luogo, prese in ogni stagione e condizione di luce e devo dire che e' sempre un bel vedere.
Buono scatto il tuo, ben composto con l'alberello e il casolare ben posizionati nel fotogramma. La luce e' stata gestita bene e hai ottenuto dei buoni colori; forse con un polarizzatore invece dell'uv sarebbero stati ancora piu' intensi.

Hi fabio,
very nice shot. Wonderful green! the lonely tree gives strength to the composition and the blurred background gives the impression of distance. Very good! Rafa.
