L'arrière plan avec ces belles ondulations de terrain soulignées par la lumière me plait beaucoup, le premier plan flou, un peu trop présent dans l'image, un peu moins.

yesterday i was looking for a roling hill in that kind
seems my region hasn't got the right relief
but i saw quite the same colors
beautiful mix of shdows and enlightened areas,
the foreground is OK but I think a lot of people will think that it takes too much space

che meraviglia la campagna senese con questa luce. Pennellate di luce, e in più i segni delle strade e del passaggio delle macchine agricole. Sembra un paesaggio di Giotto.

der obere Teil des Bildes ist Super, das Licht, die Starsse, etc.
aber der untere unscharfe Teil ist meinesachtens zu gross im Bild,mehr als ein Drittel unscharf finde ich zu viel...

I waited for your photos of the Val d' Orcia! It is a place made for you and I am not disappointed.
...May, the green is changing to take golden tints, the evening shadows underline the relief so soft of Tuscany (much less soft for a bike trip, for me!) the vagueness of the foreground is interesting, I would maybe have a little reduced it.

Hi, Christian -

Unusual effective use of fg blur in this shot; I like it. It works because it doesn't break from the rest of the image but instead leads the eye into the focused area with a nice transition. And then the curving road leads us out again.

I love Tuscanian landscapes - this one is amazing too with the wide range of tonality of the light and composition! One thing - I would have took it with the first plan sharp too - but it is only mu subjective iopinion. Rgds. Mac

The fine light makes the fields really pop!
Wonderful golden colours and lovely lines in the rolling landscape...
Maybe a bit too much blur in front for my taste but that's personal matter..!

oh yes.. Tuscany is like the paradise for the photographer... but not all of them can use that beautifull views to make good pics.. I used it very very well.. TFS

Lieber Christian! Ich hoffe es geht Dir mittlerweile wieder etwas besser. Um ehrlich zu sein, waere ich auch nicht scharf darauf mit einem Flugschueler ueber den See zu fliegen, und dazu kommt noch dass jeder wieder anders fliegt. Ich halte mich gerne an Bewaehrtes :))) Zurueck auf der Erde, Dein Bild ist grandios, erdverbunden, naturnah, wunderschoen. Die gelben Felder rollen dahin, als wuerde es kein Ende geben. Toll!!!! Du bist nicht mehr ganz so aktiv, hast eine Pause gebraucht? Oder hast Du die Freude verloren mit dem ganzen "Hin und Her" hier? Auf jeden Fall ist es immer wieder ein Genuss Deine Bilder zu erleben.

this one is unique. i love the way you give it a fade off feel with the dof, a sort of dreamy look.
i would see this more as a classic example of how one can compose a half frame.

Bentornato tra noi caro Christian, le tue foto ci sono mancate! Spero di vedere presto qualche tua nuova imnmagine bella come questa. Tu e la tua Signora state bene? Io domani partirò per la Serbia dove passerò qualche giorno a Belgrado ospite del nostro amico Branko (Vasa), facendo tappa prima a Split e Sarajevo e ritornando per Zagreb. Ho visto che anche tu hai visitato questi Paesi, spero di fare qualche bella foto. In ogni caso ci vediamo su TE dopo il 15 Agosto.
