Evolution ?
Thanks to Wolfgang for lending me his 11-16mm lense. I repaired the distortion which you get at 11mm with transform/tilt-function in Photoshop.

Funny, seems almost staged (but I guess it was not)... which would make this image even better, of course. The diagonal evolutionary path [;-)] works well with the straight lines of this urban setting.
cheers,
Cristian

Ciao Christian,
Più che evoluzione la chiamerei involuzione, da qualsiasi parte la si guardi.
La foto è impeccabile, sia nella tecnica che nella composizione.

Hi Christian, thats a lovely and nicely angled shot that looks at the entire place so well. Sure looks like that classic evolution walk!! Nice use of the borrowed lens!!!

Very interesting composition. The diagonal element is really interesting. The light gives it beautiful timeless feel.
Good one.

Hi Chris,
haha, this one is funny!
It reminds me of that visual joke...evolution: silhuette of an ape changing into a shape of a standing man and then this man slowly going back to ape pose...with a computer in front (you seen it? :))) I will rahter not think now how I look haha :)
This is one excellent shot! How on earth did you manage to get them lined up like this? Their pose, distance, ages...
It is simply brilliant!

Hi Christian,
This composition is awesome and quite funny. It's very graphic with this virtual diagonal line of men and the perpendicular line on the ground ... I also like the way you managed the light, with the warm hues of the walls. I am not sure about the evolution process though! :)
Congratulations!

Marine

Hello Chris,
Excellently composed photo! The three men are in a perfect line, and really create an evolution mood. The wide angle worked very well and you corrected the distortion well here too. I just found the men a bit dark so I tryed a ws, hope you don't mind!
TFS!
Cheers,
Marci

Hi, Christian -
I wasn't sure this was an interesting shot from the thumbnail, but now I see your point. Very nice spotting - though I really don't think that a smoker should be at the top of the evolutionary chain! :-)
Best,
Dan

Hello Christian,
The exposure is good so that the soft lightning allowed to evidence the texture of the fronts. After there is the composition putting the 3 men in the diagonale with the humour effect linked to the title you selected.

Nice alignment, Christian. I Love the title of this picture. 11 mm was great choice. I also love the fact that figures are so short and stubby. It suites the title perfectly. Looking at this image one gets somewhat grotesque and surreal feeling. It could be by all means a poster image for a strange movie.
I like it.

Evolution indeed, Christian. But I hope the man on the right is not the final end product, with his cigarette and his uniform of authority. "Authority" should exist in support of something larger, but maybe you couldn't fit that in this picture. Anyway, it's very well composed with a lot of nice geometry. Regards, Ken.
