Photographer's Note

RP - Autolevels -

"Villamagna" is a quite hidden piece of country in the middle of larger country, with beautiful landscapes.

It's not the town in Abruzzo, but the name of this piece of country in central Tuscany.

I found this place casually, driving from Pisa/Volterra towards San Gimignano, and deciding to run a less important country road, hoping it would be right as well.

It was the right choice, 'cause i saw fantastic landscapes in a beautiful silence.

This is one of them.

RED color of the field is given by a particular earth if these places, called "TErra di Siena".
And just this term is used, as well, to indicate a typical reddish brown in Italy.

I was unsure about the weather, 'cause it was not that good in first part of my journey... but then, in a short time, the wind created this significant sky :-)
