It's tilted! However the people & lampposts are straight so all is not lost! Another shot of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The foundations have been stabilized by architects and geologists working together and it is still open to the public, but not at blue hour. Shuts at 5 pm from memory. Here I tried a longer exposure to get starbursts from the lights.

do not think I have ever seen a blue hour shot of this famous tower, which surprises me as this is quite wonderful. The tilt looks all the more pronounced in this shot too, maybe a trick of the light but it dose make for a dramatic and beautiful image. Accomplished execution and a striking presentation. Well done, I really like it.
Regards - Brian.

Greetings from India !
A beautiful shot of this amazing minaret which is so precious for all of us. People are working to stabilize this marvel and many thanks to them. An amazing shot with great sharpness and contrast. Wonderful effect from the lights. Bravo!

C'est assez rare qu'on a le plaisir de la voir à l'heure bleue. Cette tout est maintenant stabilisée et restera penchée encore longtemps pour notre plus grand plaisir. Très réussi comme longue exposition.

hehehe me and my OCD nearly straightened it for you ;) It's a beauty, the Tower at Blue Hour...someone should write a song about it. I love the star bursts and the brilliant cobalt blue tones. The guy standing still in front of the Tower, no doubt in awe, gives us an excellent sense of scale and also a good comparison as he certainly looks "straight":)
Thanks for sharing, have a great day

Ciao e buona serata

I have never seen the tower ( not minaret) at the blue hour with the "stars" at the sides (long exposure created original effects ), you really are a night capture expert
Great sharpness, as usual to let admire architectural details, must be great to be up if there is a lift
Regards and cheers

Your starbursts have been achieved very successfully; this is a great blue hour shot.
It is an incredible building and more incredible that it is still standing! Your sharp photograph reveals quite clearly the angle to which it is leaning and the figure gives the whole building an understandable scale.
Have a great day,

Hi Chris - I have been busy this week and have had little time to write any critiques so sorry for my late comments on this beauty. I love the atmosphere of this blue hour shot with its star-burst lights so clean and white. I saw a TV program on the efforts made to try and stop the tower from falling over but looking at it here it really seems to have almost reached the point of no return! The man standing with his arms crossed seems to be looking up at the tower and considering just how long it may continue standing. Fine quality work. Warm regards Rosemary

Using a slow shutter speed and probably a support is allowing me to see the details and colors of the Pisa Tower. It also has a special effect on the colors. a critiquer writen in Varadero. Have a nice day.
