This is the last picture of my Corsican travelogue. It was taken from our ferry just before landing in Livorno, Italy. It's half past five p.m. and ahead of us there is over 1000 km of non-stop drive to home, that we'll reach next morning around 10 o'clock.
Unfortunately, I'm getting older and the days I loved long car trips across Europe are gone. This is the only thing I dislike with Corsica -- getting there from Czechia by car is long and tiresome, however a flight would be at least three times more expensive and not faster at all.
For ship lovers there is a better view of that Moby ferry on the left in the workshop -- my definitely last photo taken during the great Corsican Vacation.

Takie miejsca zawsze budz± respekt. Mówiono, ¿e prty to okna na ¦wiat. Ciekawy kadr i kolorystyka. Interesuj±ce zestawienie tej budowli z nowoczesnym statkiem. Oj wyp³ynê³o by sie w morze...

Hi Marek, I like the light and the POV, and the composition with a city that looks old and the ultramodern ship. Regards, Daniel

Belle prise de vue. Le regard suit les abords du quai à droite et à gauche. Bonne luminosité qui mettent en valeur au fond l'ocre des bâtiments.
Merci pour le partage.

we have a good sight here on this port. And, as always, the picture has good sharpness.

Great graphic view even though Livorno is not the most attractive of places. We arrived there from Olbia on a Moby Ferry but it wasn't this one. The light is excellent and shows of the brick of the old town. Good having the towers in the left to give extra depth.
Photographically speaking, you had a very successful Corsican trip.

Thank you for your Corsican Travelogue! It was a pleasure to see all the pictures.
This last one is also very nice. A good view of the port and the city. Well composed, good work!

Splendid view! I like the way you composed it, very well balanced with a perfect DoF.
P.S. - A trip at the Moby must be at least fun! The pilot could be the Duffy Duck!

Hey Marek. Everything is so crispy and clear. Your fast shutter speed made sure it stayed sharp while you were on the moving ferry. Nice one Marek.

Dobry Vecer Marek,
A nice pov for a luminous picture, I like how the leading lines seem to be converging to the lower left corner, it's strong in perspective and quite dynamic, also I appreciate the display of the city structures in the background, as an alternative to Livorno you might consider Savona, but I'd too wish Corsica were closer ;-))
Have a nice evening,

A strong composition thanks to the impact created by the diagonals and your POV. Superb image quality with great natural colours.

Hello Marek, with the reading of your note I can say to you that it is quite true that one renovated not all master key more and more quickly and the rare moment of vacancy passes have even more quickly finally one all the time will not complain thanks to our passion about the photograph one travels much in image, still a beautiful well tallied and quite clear sight what could be better than the boats to make us dream and that Ci is particularly enormous thanks to this building one can compare the size and appreciate, sincerely

Hi Marek - we don't often see pictures of Livorno, nice one here combining maritime industry with the more tyraditional building styles in the back. I also ended both of my Corsica trips at this port.

I've noticed the other day the technical quality of your photos but only now realised you're not shooting with Dimage Z2 anymore.
Nice POV on the harbour dominated by what it looks like a very old building (marine HQ?).
Precious inclusion of old Livorno in the BG.
PS. Do I have to say how much I dislike the painting on the Moby ferry?!?!?

ce paquebot est impressionnant, il en éclipse le bâtiment de pierre qui est juste à côté.
Le choix judicieux de l'optique, montre une vue panoramique étendue et nette à tout endroit.
Des lumières parfaites et chaudes pour inonder la scène.

i know this view of Livorno..
amazing the oppsition between the old houses and walls of the old city and the port (quite) modern..
i'm always impressed by the sharpness of your minolta!

Simple but good composition with a nice perspective.
Light is good too and, I think, is not only transportation and architecture the category: for me is also daily life.
Thanks for share.

this is a great view, the lines are superbs. the love boat in the left is a big plus.

Excellent shot. The pier gives us guidelines into the picture. The modern ferry contrasts with the old city buildings. Nice, saturated colors.
