Photographer’s Note
One of the many Basilicas in the medieval city of Florence. This was the capital of Italy around 1000 years ago. The River Arno seemed very low and calm on this day, but it is known to flood heavily in different seasons.

According to your note, you had luck that the river was calm. Otherwise, the reflection would not be so nice. I like more the reflectec image than the original one.

Hi Murray,
The mirror effect on the water of the Arno river is an asset to the composition. The trees are framing well the basilica. The point of view is allowing me to see the details and colors of the architecture of the Florence basilica. The early evening light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Murray,
That's a good shot, excellent composition and from an interesting POV. Using the water foreground has given you a good reflection and split the frame nicely.
I like the soft muted colours, at first look I thought it was a little under-saturated but, not the case, it looks great.
Well done.
Regards
Peter
