Welcome to TE, Andrew. This is an excellent first post. Very good composition, the image is sharp, and you performed a very good postprocessing here. Excellent. (I made a workshop to show you another possible technique for image editing)

I don't like gray clouds, but this gray clouds with orange spot sun give fine lights on Florence panoraama

What a beautiful view of Florence. I really like the clarity of the shot and the beautiful silhouettes of the distant hills. The trees, including my favorite cypress trees, frame the shot nicely on the left and raw the eye in as the river does on the other side. And that sky is really nice. Full of nice clouds. And you don't include the full Florentine skyline that is always shown but it doesn't take anything away here. The composition and the view work spectacularly together. Nicely done and welcome to TE, Andrew.

Une parfaite maîtrise de la luminosité ambiante, la composition n'est pas en reste non plus.
Ces nuages moutonneux dans le ciel sont très esthétique à voir.
Bien vu et merci de partager Andrew.

Very good view of the city. I like the sharpness and depth of the picture. Nice point of view with the river leading the eye into the city. As Thomas showed in his workshop the image could be lightened a bit although on my monitor all details are clear enough.

Excellent shot. One (very minor) criticism is the almost 50/50 split between land and sky. Cutting off the land from the top of the big white building in the centre-bottom and adding a bit more sky I think might improve it slightly. Paul.
