At the entrance of the Palazzo Vecchio, stands the replica of Michelangelo's "David" and the statue of "Hercules and Cacus", by Bandinelli , unvailed in 1533. The original from 1504 is being kept at the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Firenze since 1873 .
From this POV they look as they turned their heads, looking at other statues…

A well crafted composition that creates an interesting juxtaposition between these two statues. The curves and textures in the statuary are well rendered under a good light.

La nitidezza e le forme.
Le forme sono riprodotte con stile e gusto.
In aggiunta una nitidezza e profondità di campo che convivono egregiamente per il successo dell'immagine .

From the chosen point of view David looks the largest hehehe!
A well framed scene, good focus and sharp fine details in the statues...
And I notice how clean they are - not many birds around I guess..!

Vraiment magnifiques ces répliques des statues de Micheangelo et bien présentées devant ce bel édifice. Les formes sont superbes et le bel éclairage nous montre bien les détails.
Je te souhaite une belle fin de semaine ensoleillée,

Thanks for your visit Ike
The pendant statue to David (I always feel shy when I see my marble on TE), Hercules and Cacus reminds me of a slavery posture!
Nice allover soft light for a perfect clarity.

They do look as though the two statues are having conversation. We all know that they are replicas, however they still holds the power to impress those who look at them; the magic of the Renaissance art is well captured in your view. I do appreciate the POV, which visually connects the two statues, but I also appreciate the façade behind them. Carefully framed view, and three-dimensional effect of Renaissance façade is very intriguing. Perspctival façade provides a perfect backdrop for the two statues. Very beautifully framed view, and well-balanced composition shines in your photo. I like the presented image very much.
With my very best wishes,
Have a nice and pleasant Friday, Ike

That's the beauty of Florence, you can go to see art on the street, the composition with these two wonderful statues is fantastic, which are two most beautiful figures.
You've captured both the statues and the beautiful building that serves as a background, with perfect clarity, to indulge in contemplation, also very natural color is perfect.
Fantastic work. I love it.
Have a great evening.

This could only be one place Ike, a city that features some of the greatest works ever known...the one and only Florence! Great angle taken here, showcasing the famous statues (albeit replicas) and showing some of the background facade of the Uffizi. Looks very stoic from this point of view, and shows both sculptures in great detail and form. I like everything that's included in this photo, both the building materials and subjects themselves. Very well composed with balanced exposure. Nicely taken. Thanks for sharing this corner of the piazza. Have a great week ahead.
All the best,

one of my favourite places in the world. I like very much your elegant composition that has placed this interesting scene with the statues against a wonderful backdrop. They stand out superbly and the details of the backdrop do not interfere or distract from their beauty and plasticity. I also like the way you've managed the soft light and how you've maintained a variety of harmonious tones. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely month,

Another on "oldie" from your store. Nice view up, excellent close-up. The statues are in very good light. I like the building façade in BG. Nice composition IMO.
Very well done.

The shadows have helped you here. I had a mixture of bright sunlight and harsh shadows when I visited last year. Good sharpness and symmetry and it's great that they have a replica that you can take photos of. All photography of the original, surrounded by irreplaceable artworks sensitive to UV rays, is banned. I still saw a few tourists using their cell phones to take sneaky shots when the guards weren't looking. Maybe they should put David in a flash friendly area where the uv won't harm anything? Tfs!
