Photographer’s Note

A windsurfer playing with the power of wind..
seen in the morning light at Garda lake west coast.

As I use only manual settings, it was hard to find the right shutter speed, because the surfers moved fast out of the sun reflections into the shadow. Next time I´ll use AV-setting (aperture value fixed, time automatically) :)

Pic size 41,8 MB due to the unregular water surface !

Walking on the water, flying over water seems a miracle.. the small silhouette of Brave-in-heart windsurfer who hasn't the fear of the depth below looks like being made of the glass trapped by thin ice lying around.. This is sth what I understand, though hardly rather but.. you were above.. and now tell me how that was possible?:)

Herrlich, Christian! Man treibt gleich mit uebers Wasser, springt ueber die Wellen, spuehrt den Wind am ganzen Koerper. Herrlich das silbrige, leicht duestere Wasser, aufgebrochen mit etwas Orange, dass sich auch im Wasser sehen laesst. Ich dachte schon, dass Du auch verschwunden bist, schoen dass es nicht so ist, langsam kehren die Meisten wieder zurueck an ihren Standplatz :))) Ein starker Auftritt, der laesst sich wahrlich sehen und geniessen, ein richtiges kleines Kunstwerk. Schoenes Weekend, Barbara.

While surfer was enjoying the wind, you're there to enjoy light over him.

i know that,principal objective in here is texture the color of surfer with its colors..If you ask me,i've admired the shadow of wind surfing as regards the other...hey,i've also associated this to IT

Very good action photo. The dynamics of both the waves as of the route the surfer took are visible. The little color remaining in this almost black & white works well and even is reflected which is a very nice bonus. Light conditions definately are not easy.
